It can also kill your tc that you have been trying to limp through till the engine swap. I got home from work sat night and my tranny was making a weird noise so I called my tranny guy and he said the tc is toast. I pullled the plug on the tranny and luckily no metal shavings so it was just contained in the tc. Looks like Ill be throwing the fuddle converter in there sooner than I thought. This makes the third time I have pulled the tranny this is really starting to get old quick. Almost makes me wan to quit messing with the trucka dn get an f-body to play with instead of dropping 6 grand for the engine swap that would make a good down payment. Also found out why the ses light came the damn wire for the front o2 sensor was rubbing the front driveshaft when it was turning in 4wd on the track and rubbed through the loom and the insulation on the wire.
