ACDelco PF48. Figure if it's good enough for the z06 vette it's good enough for my truck.

What's the part number on that filter, and does it have an anti-drainback valve? I used to run the AC Delco PF-59, which is a taller filter for our trucks, then they discontinued it. Most recently I've been using a Mobil1 filter. Wix filters are excellent, I've used them in the past on many of my vehicles. Last I checked (a long time ago), Napa filters were Wix BTW...

(going way back to when I first bought my truck, I actually used to run an AC Delco UPF-59, which was a "high performance" version of the PF-59, with a synthetic element and another upgrade or two over the regular PF-59, but good old Delco discontinued that one too...)

Napa Gold are supposed to be wix filters...... The trailblazers/envoy I6, 06+newer impalas which is the taller PF-61 filter that can be used on these trucks. In '03+ newer the computers at the parts store list the shorter version of the filters which is a PF-46 i think, correct me if i'm wrong. But you can use the longer one. from what i've seen 99-02 list the taller filter in computer, i have know idea why.

I use acdelco filter bc i get them cheap yet there good quality filters
