Default What Oil Weight & Brand?

Was Wondering what weight and brand of oil everyone is useing & Why!
In My truck after 15'000 I switched to Mobil 1 Just Because I like 100% synthetic. In my boat (410 ci smallblock) that holds 13 Qt's of oil I use Valvoline straight 40wt. If I'm useing regular Oil it's Valvoline, Synthetic is Mobil 1. What do you use?

5w-30 Mobil 1 full synthetic & K&N oil filter HP1007.
If they use Mobil 1 full synthetic in the Corvette from the factory, then it must be some good ****.
also I've been using Mobil 1 full synthetic in all my vehicles for the past 7 years. Never had an engine fail, smoke, or burn oil with the Mobil 1 full syn.
I use K&N's due to the good reviews on them.

I use the simple stuff. I run conventional 5W30 Castrol GTX. The owner's manual says to use 5W30 and I lost respect in synthetic oil after using it on my '78 Z28. Synthetic went right through my valve seals on the Z28 and I'm hesitant to use it on my truck now. Everyone has their own opinion I guess. No problems so far, just change every 3,000.

I had a similar situation using M1 in 79 in a 78 G-10 with a 250 six. It was a 20w (only weight available then,at least where I was buying it) and I would have to add a quart about every two weeks. I went back to conventional.

I've been using M1 my 93 Civic (212K) and used it in a 86 305 G-10 for about 125K and they both run/ran great.
