at what point do you outgrow single exhaust?

well i thought i read in a thread that someone was already running the TSP 1 7/8" headers on their truck... or maybe some one was asking... but i wanna say that they will fit and you should be fine... but thats what i wanna say.. lol

i would of thought that 3" y-pipe and single 4" all the way back would be more than enough... isnt that what blown06 is running and putting down some nice numbers.

X2.. Also flaco said he ran a single 3" into a borla xr1 in the 9's, and you know he's making a ton of power

Personally I like the idea of a good flowing, well built 3" Y with a merge into 4", easier packaging and flows just as much as dual 3".

well its too late. all mandrel bends, mufflers and headers are on the way. i chunked up the extra change and went with the stepped kooks headers. i guess we will see how my combo does with the added exhaust flow. hopefully it complements the heads and ported fast 90.

WHich kooks did you go with 1 3/4 to 1 7/8 or did you go 1 7/8 stepped to 2" race headers

i still have an option, as i took the money to the shop as they were closing the doors...so i just told them here is the money, call me on monday lol.

i was thinking 1 3/4 to 1 7/8.

it seems like the 1 7/8 to 2" is for bigger cubed motors...
