What rear end is in my 00 GMC 1/2 ton?
I have a buddy that has a lock right posi from a 97 / 98 Chevy and I need to know if the center internals are the same. Will it fit my 00?

Eventhough your buddies carrier is an 8.5 and yours is an 8.625, your buddies should fit fine in yours. You will different bearings though. If I am not mistaken, it was Flyer who posted the part # for those bearings.
