I probably would have went 3000 myself. But, at the time I found a NIB 2600 for 400. Now that is what they cost from yank.

Why would you have to get a stall that matches the rpm where your cam makes power? Mine starts to pull at around 3000-3200 rpm and just keeps pulling from there, so I think a higher stall would just help me more.

you stall to peak torque, not where it starts makin power. if you stall past the point of your peak torque then its ALL wasted. HP means nothing off the line to some degree. its all about the torque to get us moving.

The main reason I'm getting a stall is so I can get into the power band more easly. With the stock stall, my truck flashes to about 1200 rpm, which is really weak. If I got a 3000 or 3200 stall it would probably flash to +2000 rpm. I also want a stall so the rpms don't drop so low during shifts. my truck pulls harder from 70-80mph than it does from 60-70mph because of the shifts. I could care less if a 2600 stall was better from a DIG than a 3200 stall because I've had my cam for almost a month and have yet to lanch it from a dig. LOL, I should have told you guys this a while back.

BTW, if you have a 3000 stall, it will flash to 3000rpm. not just 2000+. it would brake stall that high but the advertised stall speed is basically flash stall

Are you sure about that? The stock stall is 1600 rpm, but it only flashes to 1200 rpm like I said. Anyway thanks for the replys, I think I'm going to wait a while on the stall for now. I'm just going to get some LTs and a few other mods first, and I finally luanched my truck from a dig today, lol.
