I have settled on the Hooker aerochamber 3" in/out, I may have it dumped out the passenger side in front of the rear tire. I post results.

Excellent choice, but I'm biased

Do you plan to ditch the cats?

I have a single in/dual out Magnaflow 14" muffler, dumped out the side in front of the tire. Sounds decent, very deep and clean tone to it. The exhaust is otherwise stock.

I have 1 chamber flowmaster (10 series) with long tubes no cats. 3 inch true dual into 4 inch tips. Rumbles nice at low rpm sounds like its coming apart at WOT! Bout to install two resonators (SS 3 i/o-3.5 body) cancel some rasp maybe clean it up bit. Went with the 1 chamber at time 4 price and make sure i had enough back pressure, because i didnt want an h or x pipe. love the sound of true dual.

Im running powersticks as resonators in front of 1 chamber flows. I love how it sounds. I cant wait to hear it with longtubes.

Cant go wrong with aerochambers though. Or even a small magnaflow sounds good too. Its just a matter of how loud you want it.

i have to agree with everything said about the flowmaster. while stock my super 44 sounded fine, rumbly on the highway, super quiet at idle, ok at full throttle. as of a week ago my truck has long tubes, i'm tired of the 44. ONLY sounds acceptable at WOT but is kind of farm truck-ish. i'm looking into the spintech pro street

I had a hooker aerochamber on my 92-F Body and loved the way it sounded. But like everyone says, your mileage may vary.
