I have a 216/220 525/532 114 cam, the power band was advertised from 1600-5600 RPM's. Is there a way to figure out where I should set my limiter and shift points without being on a dyno? I'm going to be making a lot of changes over the next couple of weekends and hope to hit low to mid 13's. Any info that'll help me reach this goal is greatly appreciated, thanks.

i don't have alot of experience on this one but i put my vote in for an even 6k, my motor sounds a little rattly if i go over 6k, even with a stock cam it seems like i hear people shifting close to 6k.
i bet some will say higher.
edit... thought you asked shift points. rev limiter is just a couple hundred more than shift points

If you have a strong valvetrain, I'd shift it at 6200+. With my LS6 cam (208/216) I have my shifts set for 6150. My dyno shows good power past 6200, so yours should be similar. I moved my rev limiter to 6400 to keep from bumping it on nitrous.

I'm trying to find someone to dyno tune my truck but have had no luck. FLP and Speed Inc are the local shops here. FLP said they don't have the software to tune our trucks and Speed Inc hasn't responded to my e-mails or messages. I thought LS1 Edit worked on f-bodies and our trucks, are there different versions of it?
