I think I heard that as well but at some point they put in larger ones at 24 lb/hr. Maybe it was 2001. Sorry I am not sure the year they changed them or exactly what they are rated for.

Only in 99. 2000+ all 3 motors had 24lbs/hr injectors

unless you got a flex fuel vehicle, then you already have a larger fuel pump and 39# injectors. hehehe

1999 was the bastard year...the injectors were either 19 or 21 lb/hr. 00 and up (at least to 02, not sure about 03 and up), 4.8-5.3-6.0 all have 24.7 lb/hr injectors.
