Amsoil fluids and filters throughout the truck and CTSV. In the V, I had an oiled gauze type air filter, but oil analyses showed it was letting in too much debris, so I changed to the largest Amsoil filter I could fit. The Sierra has an Amsoil stock airbox filter with an Airaid tube. I have more experience with the Amsoil in previous vehicles, and they've proven time and again to be superior to other fluids I used at the time. I haven't had enough time with the Sierra to see what benefits in performance and mpg's the fluids may provide.

If I were not using an Amsoil oil filter, I'd be running Purolator, Wix, Baldwin, NAPA Gold, Mobil1 (I understand some of them are Wix filters rebranded). As far as air filters, quality cellulose brand, Amsoil, Green Filter would be my choices.

M1 5-30 with ac delco filter and put about 7-8k or 15-25% on the oil life monitor depending on how hard ive pushed it. I do alot of highway driving. Been on this schedule since about 10k miles and have just over 76k now in just 2 years of having the truck

Also at what mileage is everyone changing full synthetic oil?

I run it about 4-5k miles
My oil life monitor goes farther than that with mostly highway driving. And that's programmed based on older Dino oil (not sn rated). 8k on syn is pretty safe.

Amsoil 5W-30 and I run it for 4000 miles. When I change the oil the Amsoil still have a golden color to it at 4000 miles.

I think I'm the only person here that uses Pentosin oil. Of all the available oil it has the most zinc and cam/bearing protective additives. Expensive, but hey, Porsche, Jaguar, Land Rover, VW/Audi and Volvo all list it as a top oil for use in their engines. (Although not publicized, Ferrari considers it to be acceptable as well)

10w-40 and a K&N oil filter.

Started running amsoil about 10 yrs ago. I didn't keep a rig long enough to tell. My dad has a 93 s10 with 4.3 and ran amsoil since he got it. Runs it for all his fluids. Has 288k+ with no problems whatsoever. I started using the Mobil 5k, then 7500, then Mobil 1. Ran Mobil for about 3 yrs. my dad talked me into a independent lab test, then again with amsoil. Now I run amsoil in everything. Had a ford probe gt with a Mazda Klze engine, oil started disappearing and it smoked blue a lot. Tried lucas, no help. Switched to amsoil problem gone. Now I run it in everything I have. I switched to amsoil 5w30 in my nnbs at 5k. I'm at 100 miles before a oil change is needed (24,8xx). Oil still looks new.
