Just curious as to what size turbo comp/exh housing you are running.Looking for something to run on a cammed 4.8. That doesn't lag to bad. Thanks

I am going to be running a GT-67 on my 4.8l. But it is not a stock motor I would suggest going with a smaller GT-35ish at 1st and see how the motor responds.

I started with a GT35 then went to a GT67 .96 A/R. I then swapped to a .81 A/R to help with the lag. My new motor will use a GT67 .96 A/R.

The STS truck base kit comes with a T60.

The F-body kit uses a 60-1

The 6.0L SS Silverado uses a GT67

You can go one size larger on the turbo if you install a converter, having a stall makes a world of difference!!
I run the GT67 .81 ar and having the stall makes for no lag at all. I literally boosts as soon as I downshift or make the stall unlock.
I'll be upgrading the housing soon though, I think the .81 is just a tad small for the 6.0L.

good luck,

allen
