Default What Type of Oil do U use...

Hey guys, I was just wondering what type of oil you'd recommend. Since most of you have S/C's, I figured you all would know the best weight and brand. Thanx
Tom

My new favorite is the German Castrol 0w30. Looks like green antifreeze...

It gets very good reviews by the oil guru's in the Internal section.

Nope, 0w30.

The 0 weight just helps at extreme-cold startup. The car guys compltely abuse this stuff all year round.

I get mine at AutoZone here in MA. Not sure if you guys have them down there too? They're a little tricky to find - you have to make sure they're the German made/imported ones, not the NJ made (?) ones.

Mobil-1 10w30 or Redline 10w30.

I live in Texas, so no need for 5w or 0w

This is what I wanted to go with (5W30 actually), but I can never find the "Made in Germany" bottles. Think the ones I've seen have something like Made in USA with foreign and domestic products. Thanks for the attachment, but I can't make out the fine print.

As per Patman and the other oil gurus here, I'm running Mobil 1 OW40. Redline 10W30 is also the other top performer for the LSX engines, but it's about another $3 a Qt.
