Exclamation What will 44# injectors mean for my horsepower?

I need bigger injectors and am fixing to pick up a set of 44#. I have a walbro 255lph in tank to back them up. With my new 370 i'm well over 100%idc and i don't want to drive it hard until i get new injectors. What does the fact that i'm underfueling my motor mean to my potential horsepower? If i put in 44# and got nelson to do a retune should i expect more power?

Underfuel = lean = burn up from overheat/detonation
enough fuel to run = full power

but with the tune that i have now nelson knows that i'm still running stock injectors. so that just means that the computer is holding back my potential power because it has to keep from running lean...

haha i'm about to! i know that i need them but i want to better understand what the implications are. so basically i'm understanding that it won't give me more horsepower, but it will allow me to take advantage of the potential power that i'm currently not able to take advantage of. Basically my tune is holding me back and when i get the bigger injectors i'll be able to open the motor up to it's full potential?

ok heres the deal if u have a 50 gallon drum of water and poke a pin hole in it it will eventually leak
but if u drill a big hole youll run the water out faster
now imagine your tryin to put a fire out with this which would u wrether have to small a hole or to big a hole?
but rich is better than lean if u quench u can run 12:1 with 93 octane in some cases
but to rich will was the oil of the cylinder walls and cause wear on the motor faster so u have to get to a happy medium
bigger injectors are the cure for this
