What are your 0 to 60 times?
My 0 to 60 time based on the Autotap time stamp is 5.5 seconds. What can I expect for the 1/4. Ive done quite a few mods for a 6.0 litre engine. What would it take to get into the 4's. I want to beat out cobra's like the 2004 which can do 0to 60 in 4.5 seconds.
My next mods are E-fans and intercooler.

Well, my truck does 0 - 60 in a repeatable 5.7 seconds. This is according to HPTuners' scanning software, which logs vehicle speed off the data bus every 0.1 second.
From what I've read, it is difficult to predict 1/4 mile times from 0 - 60 numbers, chiefly because the high speed (60 - about 110 MPH) characteristics of the vehicle are still unknown. However I would go out on a limb and say somewhere between 13.8 and 14.5.
Great running truck!
Take care,
GMC_DUDE

My 0-60 is between 5.3-5.5 according to G-tech... but not sure how accurate that is. Not bad for a 4.8 w/o a power adder.

The 04 cobras run 12's stock in the 1/4. Some of the ECSB in this forum have run 11's & 12's. I think my chances to get modded well enough to beat out a stock 04 cobra is fair.
