Default What is your cammed 5.3 shifting at?

We put a TSP 220 cam in my brothers 5.3l ecsb a few days ago, its still pulling hard shifting 1-2 and 2-3 around 5800. How high can we safely turn this motor? We prob wont go much higher on 2-3, but it sure feels like its leaving alot on the table at the 1-2. He has PAC 1218 springs and TSP rods.

I shift a 6400 on both shifts and even did so on a 150 shot of nitrous.

get in the truck set it at 6200 then again at 6400 then again at 6500 and see where you feel like your truck isnt pulling anymore. id spin as high as 6400-6500.

i spin my 6.2 to 6800 and im raising the shifts bc it just keeps freaking pulling.

Take my advice with a grain of salt, cause my cam is still sitting in the box, but when I get everything together I'm planning on having the rev limiter at 6500 and 1-2 and 2-3 at 6200.
