What are your thoughts on through fender side exhaust?

Not a big fan of any of those pics. Why not notch the bottom of the bed and have the exhaust exit flush with the bottom. Even better why not make your own oval tips and then notch the bed and have the exhaust exit flush with the bottom? Magnaflow sells a tip for a Camaro http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8297 that would look good if you kept it in the same line or flush as the bed.

I think when I get it done and the truck painted people might think different about it! Thanks for clip, I will be using it later as reference!
It's a thought but he's all the way out younder in Texas and don't think he'll be making any to fit a silverado anytime soon unless I'm mistaken.

Hmmm, I was thinking it had more do to with the complex pipe work required to route said exhaust over the axle...
Lawson's truck looks ok with the exhaust like that, but the other silver one would look three thousand times better if the exhaust was lower in the panel and behind the rear tire...
