Something to do with making power, less piping = less restriction...don't confuse yourself with such thoughts. Actually isn't spongebob on TV or something?

Even better why not make your own oval tips and then notch the bed and have the exhaust exit flush with the bottom? Magnaflow sells a tip for a Camaro http://www.magnaflow.com/02product/s...e=main&id=8297 that would look good if you kept it in the same line or flush as the bed.

You talking about what the Lightings have? Kinda notched frame with pipes flush with the bottom of the cladding?

I'd rather have them like Dave's truck that in the middle of the quarter panel forward of the rear tire. I think the way that guy did it on his viper is perfect...now I wonder if it will look good on a silverado??

I think when I get it done and the truck painted people might think different about it! Thanks for clip, I will be using it later as reference!

It's a thought but he's all the way out younder in Texas and don't think he'll be making any to fit a silverado anytime soon unless I'm mistaken.

Hmmm, I was thinking it had more do to with the complex pipe work required to route said exhaust over the axle...

Lawson's truck looks ok with the exhaust like that, but the other silver one would look three thousand times better if the exhaust was lower in the panel and behind the rear tire...

im all about out of the box thinking, but that idea needs put back in and shipped to japan LOL
its cool on the C5R cause its functional. IF an only IF these trucks had cladding similar to the lightning would be the ONLY way i think it would look good

That's the only way I would do it, if it was allowing for clearance on a LOW truck.
