Default whats the difference between the manifolds

suchs as in brand name and for example the weiand intake manifold for ls1 type engines and the fast etc etc

they claim to add hp over our stock ones

but yea i would want to run the ls6 manifold but u gotta change a lot of shet so thats why i was planning on the fast or weiand type manifold...

not sure about price, i guess it depends on where you get.

weiand - aluminum - a large heat soak, very bad, very minimal gains
FAST -expensive but what most guys run if you dont stay with gm

most truck guys go to a LS6 if they swap manifolds. i would swap heads before intake manifold

fast is composite and is a two piece to were you can have a 78mm tb or a 90mm tb..the bbk can accept a 85mm tb..then the professional products accepts to a 90+mm intake..for performance differences look on ls1tech and do a search..

im not sayin that heat soak doesnt happen on aluminum intakes, but id like to see a dyno run with the motor fairly cool and then another dyno pull with the intake hot

the fast and weiand require the EXACT amount of changes as the LS6, they're all car style intakes...

you have to change the sames things as you do with the ls1 for the fast..i have the ls1 intake now and debating on either a bbk 85mm or the big PP intake
