i had that problem. i would do fine until around 5900 rpm's. then it would vibrate a little and quit pulling for a second and then start apulling a little then shift. i put my 918's on before i did my cam swap for the last time to see if it went away. it did.

comp 918's are the springs yes. what cam are you running. is it stock? if so you should not be experiencinbg valve float. how big of cam if any. if y0u are not going to run a cam that is bigger than 550 lift them i would go to Z06 springs.

i have the stock cam but i was told by some people that it is still possible to float the valves at high rpms and when there is high miles on the vehicle. i was just going by that info. truck has 65k on it.

hahahahahahah....you said mods, thats funny, on my truck.....well with all the money i earned working for bill gates this year i have free mods, a k&n, and a 40 flowmaster dumped b4 axle. and i really havent had much time to work on it either. stock everything. the only difference i can find between it and everyone elses is that it has always been able to chirp 2nd(not one tire fire),and shifts higher than what its supposed to...cuts off at 98mph like normal though. i think it just has gremlins in it.
