I totally agree. If you know as well as I do, GM doesn't have the best of transmissions. And I'd hate to see you put all that investment in and not have anything to transfer the power.

I'm on my 4th transmission, the first 3 were all GM. The one that I have is an FLT Stage 4 along with Vig 3400 and Sonnax servos.

Well, no. You have to change your springs. Not really the rods, but it would help for insurance. I used Z06 springs on mine, and have a good tuner. I'm still running my stock stall, so I can't really enjoy all of my cam yet. I'm looking into a TCS 2800-3000, but for $800 smacks, I might wait awhile and get the TBSS 2400 stall first, it should really wake the cam up. Zippy is running the same cam, in his 5.3, and he's in the 13's.
