parish 4.8L was bone stock, no headers, no nos, no cam, no nothing, just a bone stock 4.8, the supercharger, and a mega squirt for the fuel injection.
it made some where around 423 rwhp.

now replace the cam, put on a set of 6.0 heads for better flow, long tube headders, and a banks twin turbo system, then you got something to talk about.


i think it was Jay leno that made 1000 rwhp with a 6.0 vho from a vett with a set of twin turbos on the show rides.

 

i got to 494rwhp on a completely stock 4.8 but that is at 18psi with the cmotorsports turbo kit. the motor was stock but the rest of the truck isn't. i think it would have gone way over 494rwhp with just a couple of things.

stiffer wg spring so i could add more boost and valve springs and who knows. i was floating them from something like 5400rpm. i drove it for a few weeks cranked up and didn't hurt it. these things are strong.
