those 4.10's helped you. You just dont know it yet. If you really dont think they helped pull the cover and count the teeth and make sure you put in 4.10. They will really help from a dig. From a roll it could be a bunch of factors.

MODS to do next.

Traction aid, maybe lakewood bars and some DR's

Might want to go with a tt3200 instead of 3000. Wouldnt hurt you at all! Just put you at a little more torque comin gout of the hole.

Ls6 heads WONT RAISE compression in stock form. They would have ot be milled.

After the converter I would be lookin at a set of atleast stage 1 WCCH 5.3l heads. Tdrumm picked up close to 20 rwhp and 20 rwtq all throughout the power band with just the new heads. Stage 2 if you want a little more!

Ater that you will want a bigger cam. Im sure by the time you get all this put on you will be wanting a 6.0.

THE HELL WITH THIS WEBSITE!!!

A no cam no stall truck should not be beating you. It must be in your midrange that your loosing, because up top you should be killing him. I'd check the mid range on that tune. It doesnt matter if you peak at 400whp, if your entire powerband isnt right it just wont run. What rpm are you shifting at anyway?

That should not happen, with a cam and no stall you should walk a bolt-on truck from any roll.....what are you shifting at, whats the AFR, how much timing you running? Something's definetly not right somewhere, I would think shifts need to be around 6300 or maybe even up to 6400, especially with no converter to help your shift extension. A stall will definetly help but I would not get the TT3000, its the same size physically as the stock unit, and its based on the TT2600, and you can not restall it if you wanted to. Go with a 3200-3400, especially with that heavy truck. You have a good list of mods, just have to get the kinks worked out.

yeah something doesnt sound right. you should be beating him. i say your next mods should be a new torque converter, tranny cooler, and a shift kit (you'll need firmer shifts after the converter).
