What's with the red spark plug wires on my '04?

I think the red ones give the truck 10 hp

LoL Color isn't important to me. I'm just wondering what the resistance difference between all 3 different types of plug wires that're out there.

the boots on the van wires at the plug are 45 degrees not 90. i think its for betetr clearence with the dog house.
