yea go run it lets see what it did for you. I live in Bridge City not to far from houston and I race at ben bruce raceway in evadale. I run 15.0 all day long in my 4.8, If i could hook 14.9-14.8. Looking for low 14's or maybe high 13's with my upcomming stall and cam install.

So your truck is at least a second faster with the pro tune? Must be if you can feel that much difference. Where are these guys finding all this hidden horsepower?
Is it a safe bet the pro tune will give me .2 of a second compared to your full second gain?

I wouldnt say a full second faste with the tune only, there are some guys that have dropped .4 or .5 with a tune, but that was in combination of mods already done. Im not sure if anyone has ran a bone stock truck, then ran it again with only a tune, so I'm not sure, there are too many contributing factors to equate.

I'm confused and sick and tired of spending money freely on my truck. TEA in Kentucky has me especially pissed off at the moment. They were supposed to call me back about a high dollar tune I wanted to get before the Thunder Shootout so I could hopefully run some 14's. But no return phone call!
Looks like I'll be looking at LA boys. Who's better- Futral or Thunder? and I'd better get .2 for $400 or I've wasted money on my POS again!

Ill,
I would have gave you some stock numbers before and after a tune but I missed the special at MTI. looks like I will be getting a pcmforless now.

Snake Eater--the Denalis don't have the LQ9, they have the LQ4, so it's a little less stock power than the SS. Also, his truck looks to have Quadrasteer, which I'm sure adds some weight.

I would guess than your mods should put you in the high 14s. But you're right man--take it to the track!

I gained a half second with my tune from MTI was running 15.00 and now 14.53 I love the way it drives now.

Scream, are they really LQ4's? Whats the HP rating on them? The Denali is 325hp right? The 01' C3 Serria was 325 too i believe.

Yes. The only LQ9's are the Silvy SS and the Escalade. AFAIK, the Denali's are rated at 325, but are still considered 4's.
