That seems like a good deal...I haven't seen the LS1 version of the Hot Cam by itself anywhere. I checked Thunder Racing, who used to have it, and all they offer is the kit for $600+

If you do come across what you’re looking for, the part number for the LS Hot Cam is 88958733. It’s the same cam as in kit P/N 12480033.

Ouch, 225 for a regrind? I wouldn't use that cam for free....

Agreed. Haven't heard good things about re-grinds

I wouldn't use a TR220 in a 4.8 without a 3200 converter at least, probably more like a 3400. I would think that your mileage would suffer somewhat also. In a 4.8, even a 212/218 is pushing it for a daily without a converter IMO.

Yeah I've also been told to stay away from regrinds... So any response on the tr220? Lol sry for the questions but a cam is a big purchase for me cuz once it's in theres no going back or changing cams. I can't afford it and I don't wanna get a hot cam and wish I woulda got a larger cam.

All the cams Scnieder grinds I buy are off brand new blanks, they install just like a normal cam...I used the word re-grind because its not an oem cam...he will grind me any specs for 225...and I and many of my friends have used them for years with no problems...just very agressive ramp rates...old school..he used to be partners with crower here in San Diego
