Yeah, I work at Oreillys. Get the part # cp5087. It is a completely new water pump with a lifetime warranty

If you have E-fans you can convert to an LS1 water pump and get that water neck out of the way of a good 4 intake. Or an LS2 that has beter cooling, but Im not sure if it is a direct swap.

the ls1 is a direct replacement? does it flow any more, or last any longer

You can also try an Evans high flow water pump. Don't recall the price, it was just added to my huge bill of parts. Talk to Nate at Nasty Performance, he'll hook you up.
