Default Where to get a Walbro in tank pump and accessories??

I had found a link one time to a place that sold everything needed to put a Walbro intake pump in but cant find it now. Anyone know where I can get one and anything else needed for the install? Or better yet, are any venders offering a complete kit??

Thanks,
Randy

Cool

You can try Racetronix and see what they can do for you. You will probably have to email for the information that you need. There is a list of dealers at the bottom of the page. I see that Thunder Racing is one of the listed venders. Not sure if they can help but may be a place to start.

I found it. It might get deleted since they are not a sponsor here.

Randy, if you would...post up the part number and other parts you are going to purchase. I'm in the same boat as you and need to upgrade, but don't really know what all I'm going to need to make the install. Thanks

I orderred the
GSS340 pump
Pig tail
Foam sleeve
Flex hose
Rubber hose
2 Hose clamps
Universal pickup filter

I probably ordered some stuff I dont need but other than the pump, it's all dirt cheap, so if I dont need it i'm not really out anything.

Hold up before you order. I got an email from them . Seems that what I ordered might not work, so he is sending me a different kit. I guess i'll be the guinnea pig. Here is a copy of the email...

Your truck [and other GM apps] use a special
pump that has two outlets: one to feed the
engine and one to keep the module/bucket full.

Walbro does not make a kit for your truck, nor
do they endorse using any of their pumps in
your car, because there is not a dedicated
way to keep that bucket full.

but....
Most folks are getting the FPG003 kit [on "Applications" page
of the WWW site] along with a new flex hose [on "Install Parts"
page of the WWW site]. That should get you most of the way there.

I'm going to send you the FPG003 along with the flex hose
and a foam sleeve. That should get you as close as possible.

Hum... I put a GSS340 in my 2001 GMC 4.8 with out any problems. But it didn't have any kind of duel outlet or anything in the bucket. I got it from Thunder for the same prices as these other guys your talking about.
