Default Where to Spend 8 Grand

Hey guys

My 99 rcsb is fully bolt, 4.10, true trac, and currently has a 5.3 with a 212/218 cam. Truck is waiitng for its new FLT level 6 trans with all the billet goodies...

Im not sure which setup to go, tvs 1900 with a GT-3 cam, or perhaps do a bigger stall, 6.0L, heads and cams etc...Whats everyone think I should do? Im sure the 6.0L would be a bit cheaper, but wheres my money better spent?

let me know your opinions, and the reason for it...discuss

thanks

Brandon

Pick up one of the front mount turbo kits in the F/S section, I think casper's was going for 5 grand. That's going to net you way more power than a TVS or N/A 6.0 could do.

Keep the cam you have, pick up a used procharger kit. While you're doing the FLT, throw in a Circle-D stall. Spin the **** out of the procharger on the 5.3 and have fun until she pops. Then pick up a 6.0!

For $8k, you can get a 500+ ci crate engine brand new with a warrenty and still have some left over for headers and other stuff. Just somthing to think about. There is no replacment for displacment!

Yes but you cannot go turn key, for a decent FI engine in a crate anywhere near that. Mast motorsports ls3 cam package at 550hp is 15000
