my 05 is now making a whining sound after i drove it crazy for about 2 hours flooring it every minutee ,,,the first time it did it was after a burnout with brake and gas combined up to 50 mph. but it the whine went away after 2 minutes then yesterday it started whining for the flooring and hasnt stoppped whining since kinda like that weird niose those ford FWD cars make because of power steering.and no i dont have radix hahah.

did you happen to be turning the wheel during your burnout or anything? you could've wasted the power steering pump. Or any one of your bearings in the pump, your alternator, or you ac pump, was the ac on? lol, even the idler pully, you could've wasted any bearings somewhere. check those first.

I Had A Similar Problem, But I Was At Idle For A While With The Ac On In Traffic And It Started Making A Loud Whine From The Tranny. It Would Shift Funny Too. It Went Away The Next Day But Every Time I Sit In Traffic Or Let It Idle It Starts Agian. What Could It Be?
