Whipple air/air intercooler. Anyone done this?

intercooler from a dodge deisel. needs a little fab and ingenuity. i almost got it done. if i could weld stainless pipe, it would of been done along time ago. i sold my kit however.

Will it make a difference... oh yeah! you can run more boost, and more timing, with reduced pinging. = more power baby.

here are a few different ways to i found to do it and keep my stock intake manifold. the problem lies with how the supercharger outlet is mounted right next too and slightly behind the intake manifold. there is hardly any room to make anything work. here are some choppy pics of some riggin i did. 2 different ways to do it.
first way is nice and sturdy, but if the box gets hot, it will warm up incoming intercooled air. it was the highest flowing method i made though.
This way is nice, but is hard to fab up where you get max air flow. i liked this way the best.
here ya go. i went and had teh box made out of aluminum. but the didnt make it as well as i made my steel box so i ditched the box idea.
