The allowed error for the MAF is lower at lower MAF readings. The higher the MAF reading the higher the allowed error is. Looking at the P0101 Allowed Error table in LS1Edit that's what it looks like anyway. That's probably why you are setting the code a part throttle and not at full throttle. Here is a pic of the table.

With HP Tuners or Edit how do you continue to tune for airflow beyond what the MAF will read? Do you just set the highest setting to be tuned for you're WOT?

I have a Whipple on a 5.3, I am throwing (2) P104 MAF/VAF codes. This is after a Nelson tune. I asked Alan, he said a loose wire could be catching spark or interference, but I checked my wiring and it looks ok from what I can see....

Any ideas?

I would go make an appointment with someone who knows your truck and has a load rating dyno. You can tune very well on those dynos. My brother has a 2002 Serria Denali with a procharger and it was trowing codes untill we had it tunes properly. Your computer thinks your motor is getting way to much air and does not realize that you have a blower on it. Someone can tune it in so it realizes it.
