Hey what's up stranger!

If you can swing it with everything else use this oportunity to install a new converter too. Better safe than sorry with after a transmission failure anyway since the converter can get trash trapped in it.
With the Whipple something stalling at about 3200RPM for a motor making about 450ft/lbs. @ 3200 should be about right. I'm sure Team Tripp can set one up for you and ship it with your 60.

Well, guys, seems that communication is not that good from here. Core was supposed to be there two Fridays ago. I didn't hear anything from them, so I thought all was well. Then the next Thursday comes along, so I decide to give them a call. Turns out they say they haven't gotten the core in, but it was supposed to arrive "that day". I have posted a few emails, but they usually go unanswered, so communication is not what I would call great. I'm not saying for certain, but it kinda seems like some feet are being drug around since payment has already been made in full. They said they don't sell alot of the Super Duty trannys, so I kinda assumed I would be well informed after sending over $2200 to them. I guess I'll have to call again tomorrow to see if the core ever arrived, because now this has been holding up the swap for one week going on two. Maybe they will decide to at least let me know something, because they come highly recommended. Maybe I should have worked out some kinda deal to send half the payment at first and then the rest when it was ready to ship. I'll update any progress here.

It can never be a good sign when you're first tranny problem is just getting it here. I hope I haven't used up all of my good luck with this freak 126,000 mile 4l60e I have in here now. Can't believe it's still shifting, even though it's seen better days. By the way, good luck on the 80 swap.
