Question Who Has a Stroked SBC and TBI

Looking for anyone who has a stroker small block Chevy 380-385 cid (6.2-6.4 liters) and is running a TBI set up!.?.

I'd like to know how much power your making and/or your best drag times.

I have a .020 over 350 with stroker crank & 5.7" rods, 380 cid, 9.5:1 compression, Mild 210/216*, .440/.454, 114 LSA @ .050. Camshaft. I'll probably run long slot 1.6 rockers so the lift will be higher. Using re-worked 193 high swirl heads because I like the low end torque and after some work they flow nearly as well as stock Vortec Heads. I have a Holley 670 cfm, 52mm x 2, TBI with 65 lb/hr injectors @ 11.5 psi and 85 lb/hr @ 21 psi, Edelbrock 3704 Performer TBI intake, Walbro 195 in tank fuel pump, Deleted A/C & EGR. Pace Setter shorty headers, 2.5" true duals w/ Flowmaster Super 44's and 3" tail pipes no cat. Custom Mem-Cal Tune, 16" Perma Cool E-Fan, rebuilt 4L60E w/shift kit and Vette servo, rear end ratio of 3.72:1.

The motor pulled great numbers on the engine dyno w/ 750 Holley Carb: 360 hp @ 5000 rpm and 440 ft/lbs @ 3200 rpm.

I've been told that my TBI fuel system will not support much more than 300-325 hp. I can't afford a new fuel system right now.

So my question is have any of you pulled better numbers with a stroked TBI motor?

there are not alot of TBI guys here on PT. most everyone is running LS based stuff. There are not many of us OBS guys. I ditched the tbi when I built my stroker. I am running a carb now.

you wont like your stroker motor with the TBI. It doesnt give you enough fuel. When I had mine, if I floored it from a stop it would go so lean that it would pop back through the throttle body, then take off and go. Like dockrocker said, if you are gonna do this you need to get a 750 Holley and a carb intake. This will make your lfe lots easier. It will cost you less to get the carb and intake than it would to get the chip made for it, and there are no guarantees the chip will be enough.
