Question Who here runs a full custom dual exhaust?

Do you run 3" cats or 2 1/2"?

I read the sticky and I get all the velocity stuff. The pacesetters are 3" collectors. Do I want 3" cats maybe reduced to a 2 1/2" X-pipe and 2 1/2" in/out dual mufflers? Or put a reducer on the collector and run 2 1/2" cats?

About to blow $800 on exhaust parts and I just want to get the right crap.

I'm looking at LT's, cats, X-pipe, dual Dynomax super turbos, rear exit.

Have a 440 hp Ls6 with a mild cam and CAI, Hp tune, using all o2 sensors, no egr, no air pump, street use, 3.73s

I run pacesetters reduced into 2.5" stainless through high flow cats and hooker aerochambers on the back end. xpipe will be added soon and cutouts will replace cats soon as well.

I got 2.5" off each header, no kitties, then IMCO x-pipe, with two borla oval mufflers dumped right before the axle.

Don't mean to thread jack but who makes a catted y-pipe that will mate up to pacesetter LT's without modding or welding or anything like that?

Bill, do you have any pics of your exhaust (I know you posted them ages ago but I believe that they're gone)? It's the coolest set up that I've seen on a 4x4, with equal length pipes
