LS1 Edit and custom tuning is the only way to go. If you are going to run that much boost, upgrade to the D1SC, flows more and give more power and direct fit. It will raise your powerband though.

This guy is already working on a limited budget. He didn't plan on buying pistons, rods and machine work as it is. I agree with the upgraded unit.

I just ordered the 3.60" pulley for my truck we'll see what kind of boost it will give me <img border="0" title="" alt="[Big Grin]" src="gr_grin.gif" />
running 9.5Psi now we'll see what the new pulley gives me
Tuning with Ls1 edit is definatly a must as well as bigger injectors
had the truck out last nite doing some tuning on the new injectors
Took a while to get the injectors running as they were shooting tonnes of fuel at the start
The truck is making good power for sure we'll see how the smaller pulley does
recorded a run with the GM tech tool and saw that from a 6000rpms shift we lost 2000rpm when it shift not too bad with the 3000 yank stall.

Hey Black, I emailed you but have not hard back. Did I send to the wrong email address?

Also, any of you guys with the ATI kit, on mine, the tube to the intercooler runs in the driver side fenderwell around the front. I saw a few rub marks on it from the tires when turning all the way to the right on the tube. Did any of you notice that as well? Mine is a 4WD kit so it is alittle different with the tube routing as it goes on the outside of the frame compared to a 2wd kit. Thanks.

Ya know, I think I blocked you from sending me an E-mail on accident. Whats your address so I can take it off my list?

As for the intercooler tubing, mine is also a 4wd kit, and I run 31.7 diameter tires. I cant see it rubbing on mine with tires any smaller than 33's. What size tires are you running? Could you slide the steel 90 that's being rubbed further towards the front of the truck in to the rubber elbow? Hope that made sense.

Blocked me? My feelings are hurt....LOLO j/k man. I have 275/55/20 tires which are 31.9" tall. Never heard problems rubbing before. It is rubbing on the rubber elbow actually. I an gonna try and turn the rubber elbow in just a touch and the turn the pipe back up some.

My email is chvytndr@aol.com I was interested in your cold ait box and heat shield. Thanks

OK...You're no longer on the list!
My cold air induction consists of: A 3x8 airscoop from ramairbox.com p#3X8, a 4" flex hose coupled to a piece of 4" OD pvc pipe mounted directly behind the IC tube your tire rubs,(heated and smashed into an oval for tire clearance) to another short peice of flex hose at the top of the wheelwell, then feeds right below the k@n on the back of the charger. I got rid of the rubber elbow on the back of the charger and mounted the biggest k@n that would fit p#RU-3530.
Then fabbed a heat shield out of sheet metal and water heater insulation and mounted it to the brake booster bolt.It wraps around to shield header heat.
