Yes, the Y-pipe is the same material as the headers. so are the resonators. It's all premium hardware. You'll laugh when you open the box that you got such nice headers for so cheap. Mine were put on with white gloves

I'll show you the ziptie mod I did to hold my plug wires away from exhaust primaries #5 &#7. I just put a 10 mm bolt into that open spot on the valve cover and didn't screw it completely in so that it stuck up. Then I used 2 black zipties and pulled each spark plug wire away from the pipe about an inch. Looks fantastic and with my 3 piece engine covers no one ever sees it anyways.

Yes, those so called "bulges" in the pipes are the resonators. I haven't heard any other 6L's in person with long tube headers but mine sure sounds pretty damn smooth. Just thumps, not a rasp or cackle in the exhaust note. I have the largest case SI-SO magnaflow you can get for a 3.5" pipe. It's at least 24" if I recall correctly. It's the straight through design though where you can see daylight on the other side. Ask InchUp - he's ridden with me in it. It's got a nice meat 'n' patato's sound to it without being obnoxious.

Beautiful, thats what im looking for, a deep smooth meaty sound, this raspy *** flow master has to go, I do think it is restricting me.. That is prob ahy flows have that rasp, because they are restrictive...

Thanks again, you have been a big help bro.. Could you post up a clip if you get a chance??
