Who sells aftermarket wires for the 5.3?
I have a miss in my truck right now and I was wondering who sells aftermarket wires for the LS1's?
And which ones are the best?
I have looked in Jegs and summit and I dont see any in there.
Thanks for any help.

Ok I have found a couple from Online searching.
Here are the results:
Its between JBA (which claims 6-8 hp difference) I know hard to believe.
Accel 300+ Racing wires( I had a problem with there wires in an older truck). Im probably not getting this kind.
Taylor Thunder's ( know nothing about there claims accepnt a 10.4 mm and there 69.95 dollars.
Nology which look to be good plugs but look at the price. 304.98 They must be on crack.
Magnecor Know nothing about them except 8.5mm and cost 79.99.
So its between JBA, Taylor, Magnecor, and maybe MSD???? I couldnt find anything on MSD.
Please give me some feedback on which ones to get.

The JBA, and MSD wires, both sold through Truckperformance.com are around $40 to $50 for the pair, yes 5.7 LS1 Wires are the same on the 4.8 and 5.3 LS1 motors. I would recommend to stay away from the Taylors, since a lot of people were posting that they did not give the nice click when they are attached correctly like they are supposed to, and a lot of complaints of the connectors comming off the wires, causing you to have to recrimp the wires.
The JBA's and the MSD's are both rated at 50ohms of resistance per inch, and factory wires are rated at 250 ohms per inch resistance. When custom tuning the motor, the stock coils will put out enough power to handle almost all demands from this motor, so custom coils has not been an issue, and these wires will help with future mods, or some big power adders, once the spark levels are turned up that is. I only noticed a little smoother running at higher rpms, and that is about all you will get also, but remember that a good wire will last longer and give you that edge for future mods, so getting them is good, but don't expect any noticable power gains.
Now Jacobs has 10 ohms per inch wires that were tested by HotRod magazine, and were proven to be the least most resistant wires on the market, but they are like $150 so screw that, only serious power makers need apply that.
