I know that the truck coil packs/brackets are mounted higher than the F/Y cars, so I'm not sure that the car wires will be long enough to reach your coil packs. Taylor has a specific application for the trucks.

I am pleased with my Taylors. I swapped my OE's for them around 50k mi. Fit and finish is fine with them and not too expensive.

My Taylor wires have worked fine. And they "click" on like OEM.

Not trying to badmouth taylors, just that there has been quite a few posts in the past about them. I got JBA's and I like them cause they go with the blue look I want.

I had a problem with my Taylors, that I still haven't got resolved. (I've got the ball on this right now) A few of the clips let go from the wires when I removed them.

I had performance issues with them -hence why I was removing them. Taylor says it was because of the bad crimps.

I had a lot of low end driveability and throttle responce added to my old 5.3, after a set of MSD's.

Personally, I don't think the '04's are aftermarket-plug-wire friendly. For some reason my truck is running 800ohm wires. My older 5.3 was running 400ohms.

As with anything you hear of one bad set and everyone goes nuts. But there have been a few people on here with a bad set (maybe the guy was kickin back a few beers at work :chug ) but mine have been on for quite some time and work well.

I heard lots of bad stuff about the MSDs for some reason...too long, don't hold the wire on, etc.

In any event, I doubt a manufacturer would tell you off if they gave you a bad set.
