whoa, almost blew up another motor

Default whoa, almost blew up another motor




15psi, cool night, and the truck is turning over all 4 wheels. pulling really hard. ahh ohh, too hard, look at that fuel presure i wondered if loging fuel presure would ever really come in handy and yep it sure did.

i have slightly over a 1/4 of a tank and it is sucking air. i knew when i put in the twin intank set up i couldn't let it run low or risk sucking air but figured down to 1/4 tank would be safe. looks like i better set my out of gas mental meeter to at least 3/8tank, 1/2 tank if i am going to really be pushing it.

i hope i didn't hurt anything, i hear a slight knock but it was probably always there.

So im guessing air/low fuel psi is a turbos enemy??

Have you ever seen a dip like that before?
In the way of A/F ratio?
Or injector duty cycle?

That logging stuff is pretty cool.

Any idea on when the 408 will be in?

How are you logging boost and fuel pressure? I don't think I can log this with autotap, or can I?

i am loging boost, fuel presure and wideband

i blew up a 6.0 when i was running nitrous only. the fuel noid got stuck(didn't open) and i broke a couple of pistons.

i take it you are talking about the a/f ratio taking a dip at the end cause that stuff looks like scribble lines to me
