Default who's got WCCH heads here

and how do you like them? Im looking for a set for my 5.3 to go along with my 220 cam, headers, 3000 stall and etc.. gotta stay in front of these new GM trucks out now ya know

I was looking at the stang 1's since they seem like a good bang for the buck. If anyone has them how much HP and tq was gained?

I don't have WCCH heads, but I've had Richard make some custom parts for me and if his head work is half as good as what he did for me, those heads are gonna be awesome.

From having spent hours and hours (literally) talking to Richard, he's making my next set of heads.

I know Moregrip has them -- he's super busy these days keeping the Navy running, so you might try a PM to him and don't be offended if it takes a week or so.

I can definitely vouch for Richard's customer service, as TurboBerserker mentioned, I also spent quite some time on the phone with him, and he was very helpful and pleasant the entire time, not to mention how well he followed up while my heads were being worked on.

What everyone has said about Richard is the absolute truth. A great guy to deal with.

As for gains - 6hp and 30lb-ft of torque at peak over my stock heads without a re-tune. The peak hp number is misleading though. Cam and bolt on only 310 hp peak was at 6000 rpm. With the heads, the 316 hp peak came at 5200 rpm and stayed flat to redline. Up to 5200, when you compare graphs with heads beats cam only by 20 hp +/-. The heads are not holding me back above 5200, the cam and intake are. But I've got that covered this spring

seems like a good set of heads.. 6hp at peak and 20 overall isnt to bad for a stage 1 head! I thought about having a set of 5.3's done I have but be the time its all said and done this would be the best route to go. No running around finding parts and spending gas money LOL

whats a good compression ratio for a NA setup also and how much should be milled to get it? I run 93 gas all the time so higher would be better. I know my TA has 11:1 but im not sure how that works with these heavy trucks and what CR works best.
