Regardless of who tells me that running syn is a waste of my money. My truck runs better and gets better gas mileage on syn then dino oil. I have 143k on it. The price increase pays for itself with the gas mileage increase i receive.

Royal purple + k&n filter here.

I just changed over to royal purple. I also used the Lucas Pure Synthetic additive. There was a noticeable idle change (smoother). I Also used a can of BG 44k fuel additive when i filled up. With those 2 things i picked up about 1 MPG. I am currently running a tank with no BG in it to see if it was the oil is improving the millage.

EDIT: Also i scored a free K&N drop-in filter (boss did a oil change and put in a brand new k&n, then the next day he traded it in on a toyota urban runner)

Will update on millage later.

Dustin
