Why does this happen?
First of all everytime I disconnect the Neg. battery cable and go to reconnect I get a big spark. Is that normal?? I've done this to previous vehicles and it never happened. Then I go to start the truck and I'm running pig rich. I'm driving down the road and my average MPG are jumping all over the place. It is usually steady at 13.1. Now it went from 8 MPG to 14 MPG to 11MPG and it seems to be holding at 12 right now. It feels like a dog. Definately rich. No code. And it gets better.......I go to kick the A/C and nothing comming from the vent. I switch it again to blow directly on me and I get hit wit HOT ****** AIR!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I got Heat only. I can hear the compressor kicking on. Man it is way too Friggin hot to not have A/C. Sombody point me in the right path!!!!!!!!!!

If you have anything drawing current upon removal of the neg. terminal it will arc. ie: amplifier/ stereo equipment, radar detector, or just anything that could or possibly be pulling voltage off the battery.
