Default Will a 6.0 motor fit in my truck?

title says it all..i know it will fit but some1 has told me that one of the years they made a 6.0 that the crankshaft was to long or something?..is it true? and if it is, then what year model? cause im in the process of buying a complete 6.0 for $600. oh yeah and also the motor has aluminum #317 heads on it..im gonna sell them and buy some different heads for it, but how much should i ask for them? thanks alot!

what year is the motor? you want 01 and newer for the 6.0. how much you gonna want for those heads???

If you got a good price on those heads, I'll drive up and get them from ya. Let me know the price.
Slowerado, your gonna have to beat me to Oklahoma, and it might be hard with 4 flat tires...

Its a 2001 motor..and about the heads guys..i have no idea on the price.. i would probaly sell them for about $550. But its probsly gonna be a week before i get the motor..the guy has to inspect it and make sure there is no damage to it.. so is $550 about standard for these heads cause i have no idea, but i have seen guys sellin them for $400-$600 on this site..

i paid 350 for the last set of 6.0 heads i had, 550 is really pretty high. the 2001 motor will be fine for your truck. and BIGJ, it's funny you say 4 flat tires cuz i went outside this morning to go to church and my drivers side rear tire is flatter than hell...weird cuz i just put the THRUSTERS back on the truck friday and first time i go to get back in it one is flat.

thanks for the info..i figured $550 was to high but maybe i can find a sucker to buy them no im jokin i wouldnt rip anybody off.
