My LQ9 is a great DD. The 3600 stall kinda gets a little annoying but I'm used to it now. Most people wouldn't believe it but I CAN get 17mpg out of it if I want...

I would call and match up the cam stall and gears to see witch is the route you wanna take. It makes all the difference in the world to match these up. You can get a custome grind. There are guys out there that will tell you what works with what the best it's there job. The higher the stall the more of a pita it is to drive a slow speeds. Lots of factors in picking out a stall cam and gears you want bottom out the hole grunt, a strong mid range, top end. I wanted the best all around for my DD. Is why I went with my setup. It works great for my needs.

I haven't got any times yet. I will soon as the track opens up. I'm in Homestead fla. We have only 1/8 here. I'm shooting for 8.40 ish in the 1/8. So far I have all your regular bolt ons. Headers cai 160 stat. Full exhaust. Cam is 224/230 581. 592 114 comp cam chromoly hardened rods and dual 918's circle D 3000k stall transgo hd2 shiftkit and corvette servo. And tuned. Runs great it will burn all 4 tires for about 5 feet. It's a 2003 SS.

Easily...

My truck went 13.3. It's an ex cab 4x4 lifted 9", 6.0, patriot stg 2 243's milled for 10.8:1 compression, tr224 112lsa cam, PI 10.5" 3600 converter, 4.56 gears, and on 37" mud tires. Slapped 31" tires on it and a tighter converter and it went 13 flat...

thanks alot for the info man you got your ride moving pretty good ithink that 31" is about what my tires measure on 20x9 wheels i don't know if the height would make a difference or not but my truck has 4-6 drop on it

Damn. If ur running 13 flat in a ext. Cab lifted 4x4 truck on 31's, i now have alot more confidence in getting into the mid-low 12's with my scsb 2wd with basically the same setup.
