will a bad cat make engine miss fire
im having a problem with my 6.0 miss firing at idle it only miss fires the light comes on and blinks once it blinks and i give it some gas to about 1000 rpm the light shuts off so im thinking i have a injector that is dirty or a bad cat any one else have this problem

Prob not a cat problem if it is only misfiring on one cylinder. A bad cat will usually cause an intermittant misfire on that particular bank. Also, a cat problem USUALLY will not misfire at idle, but instead it will under a load. I would check out your injectors, sometimes the back of the fuel rail (on each side) will clog up with trash and debris also.

yea theres no code on the miss fire it just flashes i just pulled the injectors to see if they were dirty they dont look to bad the plugs are brand new im going to clean the injectors and see if that does it
