What affect does having little to no back pressre have on our engines?

None other than you'll lose a little torque down low. And personally I think they sound terrible.

That's interesting I was always told its hard on the engine to have no back pressure. And yeah some people think they sound like crap. I'm still young and have a little redneck left in me lol and no I don't live in town so it won't bother anyone.

back pressure is a myth. You want the best exhaust flow you can have. Thats why people gain hp and have lower ets when they have their exhaust cutouts open.

Backpressure is very much a real thing...... But it's not condusive to making power with an engine. I have done essay long explanations as too why basing it off something relative and sane, being flow theory. And no, I don't want to do it again.

I deel with backpressure everyday........ on steam generators......
