Will injectors work???
I am in the process of buying some 42lb svo injectors for my 01 5.3. The plugs look completly different then some of the LT1 injectors I had laying around! Do we have to buy pig tail adapters or what? Please help! This Sucks I need to get my truck tuned!!

The truck connectors are differnt
you will have to buy or find some F -body connectors and wire them into the harness
You will also need to shim up the fuel rail aswell to get the longer injectors to work

Shitty Joel, I say just hold off until we get the car's WOT fueling dialed in before you change injectors. Your pulsewidths are going to be pretty big right now as it is very rich for safety. They will drop once dialed in.

I have the 42 svo's in both my trucks. The connector should be exactly the same as the LT1's. It is different than the truck connector though. Just splice the proper connectors onto your harness and plop 'em in with a 3/4 spacer between the rail and the intake. You can get the pigtails from MSD if you don't want to go to a salvage yard.

Thanks for the help guys. I just went down the street to ASM and got the 43#. (Thanks Green tahoe) I really didnt want to install new connectors. Nic did Kieth get the Dyno in the ground? I want to get this thing dailed in!

Just for info the asm's multitec 43# injectors are rated at 58psi where as the SVO 42# injectors are rated at like 42psi. If I remember correctly the 42# SVO injectors will flow 48# at 58psi.

Not to mention the SVO injectors are the industry standard. There is a reason why many GM vehicles have SVO injectors in them. Personally, I would have used the SVOs.
