I'm currently drive a silverado ss with shortie headers with cats still, CAI, exhaust and a tune from blackbearperformance. I want to do a cam swap in my truck with the comp cam xr275hr: 222/224 .566/568 112LSA, by doing this cam swap would I pass CA smog with the mods I have and tune adjusted for the cam?

Any input would greatly be appreciated.

I think the LSA might be hard to get past the sniffer. 114 will do it fine with proper tune.

It'll be close...I remember reading that guys were passing with TR224's, but I can't remember if they had 114's or 112 LSA's.

I've read many different forums from here and ls1tech and its really hard to say, cause some people have had luck with 112 LSA that passes and same with a 114 LSA.

 

Man I love living in Florida.
