Yes, they are a little better but still there. My water pump has a lifetime warranty so if it comes to that I'll just take it in and have it replaced. Thanks though

Define freely. Mine spins with not problem but as soon as I stop pushing, it stops moving. Should I be able to give a shove and it make a few revolutions? Or even 1 revolution. Mine stops as soon as I pull my hand off.
I started the truck, still warm from my drive home, and the fan came on instantly. Also, my radiator is held in by the outermost bolts so I guess I do have the 34" radiator. Did some 5.3L engines get it? Because of the tow package maybe? I was overheating (230*-240*) while in stop and go traffic today (94* outside today). The temp would drop if I was able to keep moving for a minute or so. The radiator is full and I even added a bottle of watter wetter last week but nothing has helped. May be time for a 160* T-stat. Where do I get one?
*EDIT* I just went out and checked the oil. Down a quart. I suspect that could be the issue. Now I have to wonder....how much oil should a 6L use between oil changes? Its been about 3 months or a little longer since the last.
