Default Woo Hoo, Yank got here today!

One day after I vent , guess what Fed Ex delivered today . I have an appointment to have it installed Wednesday, can't wait . Tomorrow a Magnaflow is going back on, I'm getting their 5x11 large case muffler. I measured the dual outs on the stock Tahoe muffler I'm using and they are 5 3/4" center to center. The Magnaflow I'm getting also has dual outs that are also 5 3/4" center to center. I'm going to have the shop cut the stock muffler off but leave the 'Y', then just slip the Magnaflow's dual out's into the dual in's that are left from leaving the 'Y' intaked. This just seemed kind of a cool way of doing it is all, I'll post how it turns out.

Was it stuck in Dallas? I've had parts sitting there since Friday, thanks to that stupid damn ice storm. Hopefully they will get delivered today.

Glad you got it Jim. Don't pay more than $200 for the install. I know someone who paid $250 for a 4wd converter install.

I thought your truck would stay stock "til death do you part". Whats up man? You putting some nitrous on the rig for the big spring break shootout? Dallas has been locked down hard for 2 days, but everything is cleared out now.

Sounds like you two SanFran boys need to help Yank each other. Well, I mean help each other out with the converter install.

Not around here anyway. LOL!!
The best price I have is $280 from a tranny shop, never used them though. My mechanic said 4-5 hours which is $280+. I feel more comfortable using him because I know him and he does good work. Yeah, I can getting it done a little cheaper but for a little more $$, I'll know the job was down right. What you think, an extra $70 for piece of mind?

big tex: you couldnt handle a man like me. j/k im actually a lesbo trapped in a mans body. y2k: that sounds a little high for an install, it usually averages $200. but if you anywhere near the city its gonna cost you more.

Yellow! I'm over in Clyde, next to Concord. I keep hearing $200, you know a shop in Vacaville that'll do it for that? I'm only 30 minutes from Vacaville, heck I'll drive over there for a $200 install. I checked three shops in Concord, I got $280, $300 and $320. Then my mechanic wasn't sure, he said 4-5 hours.
